Frosty Winter Morning
Last Monday morning, January 5th, an ice fog settled in the area. As the sun burned through the fog, I was stunned by the beauty of frost covering the world.
Driving home, before pulling in the farm driveway, I stopped to capture this beauty with my camera…
Frost covered pine needles, the colors wonderfully contrasting.
Frost atop the snow, sparkled in the mid-morning sun, dazzling the eyes.
Pulling into the driveway, I continued to capture the beauty around me in the apple orchard.
Apple trees bedazzled in cold, shimmering crystals.
Walking further, snow covered pastures, topped with frost, were peaceful…
And breathtakingly stunning.
The maple tree by Greenhouse A, was a perfect frost covered subject…
Slowly began to shed the crystals as the sun became more intense.
Back near the house, Joe Pye Weed as lovely as in the summer when it blooms.
